Quantum Security Upgrade Project for a Provincial Government Cloud

Quantum Security Upgrade Project for a Provincial Government Cloud

Background

The provincial government cloud hosts the business systems of more than 100 government departments across the province and stores large volumes of government data and citizen information. It faces the dual threats of cyberattacks and quantum computing decryption, and must meet Level 4 classified protection and commercial cryptography assessment requirements.

Solutions

Deployed a cloud-satellite integrated quantum key management system and quantum-secure cryptographic machines.

Deployed quantum-encrypted backbone routers to achieve quantum-secure encryption of the government backbone network.

Equipped more than 10,000 government terminals with quantum security modules and identity authentication devices.

Deployed a cloud-based quantum security auditing and control platform to achieve full-link security auditing.

Results

Achieved full-stack quantum security hardening of the government cloud, protecting the security and privacy of government data.

Successfully passed the Level 4 classified protection evaluation and the commercial cryptography application security assessment.

System performance was unaffected and business operations remained stable.

Became a benchmark case for provincial government cloud quantum security upgrades in China, and was listed as a model promotion project by the State Cryptography Administration.
